Hello von Liebig Art Center!!!!

Well, my first class is this Thursday at the von Liebig Art Center for 2012. I'm so excited to start painting with the folks here in Florida.

Also, I've posted the new Hobby Lobby class dates on my website for 2012 for my wonderful Kentucky students. I'll be sending out an email in April when I start taking signups.

Next class...

Here's the painting for the next class on November 19th. My lovely assistant...(otherwise known as my lovely daughter) will still be on her honeymoon, so hopefully things will go smoothly! I've still got a few openings, so just let me know if you want to sign up.

Also, great class on Saturday! Bummer that I didn't take any photos (again), but I may have had a few students who did. I'll see if I can get copies to post here. That was a different kind of mountain scene but you guys did awesome! Happy painting!

Greetings from the Sunshine State!!!

80 degrees yesterday, nearly 80 today. I took a few days off painting and got settled in. (Translation...I hung out in the sun!!). Today was my first day to paint. This is one of the Bob Ross Paintings I worked on and thought I would share it. It's my first attempt at this particular painting and is only a section of it. Those of you in Kentucky may see this as one of my classes this year. I've got a ton of reference material and plan on working on some new paintings for the coming year before my own classes start back up this semester. Happy Painting!!!
